Electrostatic Painting

Electrostatic Painting

One of the most high-tech and useful spray painting techniques offered by commercial painting contractors is electrostatic painting. This unique method sprays statically charged paint at a metal object that has the opposite charge. The magnetic attraction of the opposite charges means that the paint is pulled towards the desired object, resulting in less mess and waste in overspray. In addition, the like-charged paint particles repel each other, so that the coat of paint is spread evenly, avoiding thin spots and runs.

Common Surfaces For Electrostatic Finishes:

  • File Cabinets
  • Locker Rooms
  • Office Furniture
  • Shelving
  • Elevator Doors
  • School or Office Metal Desk
  • Storefront Metal Doors and Windows
  • Large or Small Machinery
  • Laboratory and Bathroom Metal Partition Walls
  • Metal Railings & Fences
  • Truck Trailers
